birthday surprises
hi, just got back from (boarding) school! (we come home during weekends)
I didn't take any pictures 'cos I'm quite ashamed of my minimalist room (or my side at least), 'cos most of the shelves are still empty, and there's nothing very pretty about my side of the room. HENCEEEEEEEEEEEEE, I'll noly post pics once my room's gorgeous!
Anyway, roomie's neither jane nor hweetian, BUT it's doralyn, and not some random stranger, so that's good, plus i'm getting to know her better! It's kinda crazy that we're room mates 'cos we have to work around the fact that I sleep at 11plus, and she STARTS WORK at 11plus! (yes, i know my eyebags are still bigger than yours :/ )
she's trying to convert me into some nocturnal like her, and i kinda succumbed once? on tuesday. we watched grey's anatomy 'til bout 1.30am
It feels damn good that I can wake up a full hour later AND still do things slooooowly. The walk from boarding school to NJ is only about 2 minutes! Hweetian timed it on tuesday, and we figured the boarding sch gates close at 0738(and 39 secs), so as long as we step out of the dining hall at 0736, we'll make it to school BEFORE the first bell at 740! COOL RITE!
oh but the food ain't really good, (but breakfast is fantastic, there's century egg porridge sometimes, mee tai mak, chee cheong fan etc) except for SOME days. actually the biggest thing that irritates us is the poor wireless connection....everything else is pretty decent, and you may even say good.
today was july babies birthday surprise
it was a disaster/failure
some ppl knew about the surprise beforehand, some didn't, one in particular cried (ahem!), some birthday babies were ABSENT FROM SCHOOL (ABSENT FROM OWN PART
I gotta say awfully chocolate cakes are fantastic!
we had 3 cakes, chocolate, chocolate and banana, and chocolate rum and raisin!
i liked the chocolate best!
hahahahaha i've got nothing more to say already
actually got a lot lah
but dinner (@ HOME) beckons!
